Erasmus+ “PhotoKICK” project partners invite everyone who loves photography to participate in the international documentary photography competition “Sign of the Times” and submit photos that reflect our presence in the 21st century.
Documentary photography is not only a reflection of the present, but also a testimony to the future. This genre of photography allows you to explore various topics of society, from personal and intimate moments to grandiose events and social movements.
Entrants are welcome to use any genre of documentary photography, including portraiture, landscape, still life and street photography. The most important thing is to research, take a closer look at the details of the environment around us, capture them and emphasize the essence and uniqueness of our times. We encourage the creation of works that would be a reference point for future generations, recording historically, culturally, socially or politically significant events and experiences. Those who wish to test the capabilities of artificial intelligence in photography are invited to submit photos created by artificial intelligence to the “Imagined cities” subcategory of the competition.

Photos can be submitted until July 15, 2023.
The winners of the competition will be announced on September 30, 2023.
